Van den berghe François
Van den berghe, whose real name is François Vandenberghe, was born in 1951 inthe Eure et Loir region of France. He was very much influenced by the 27 years that he spent in Gabon. He returned to his own country in 1988 and has dedicated himself exclusively to plastic arts since 1995.Van den berghe succeeds in expressing an reproducing the similarities and problems that proboscidians, the artist's favourite subject, share with man.
