COMOLERA, Paul 1818-1897
Born in Paris, he studied under Rude. He worked exclusively as an animalier sculptor. His later work ranged from domestic animals to game birds, mainly modelles in the natural manner, but including a symbolic.
His works were cast in bronze and some of them were also reproduced in faience
